We are certified through the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) for Fusion Welding of Aluminum, CSA Standard W47.2, Division 2.
Welding aluminum carries its own challenges in comparison to steel welding. Thermal conductivity and issues with porosity are the two main differences in both welding techniques. We have acknowledged these challenges and therefore, developed quality procedures to ensure proper fusion of aluminum.
Being CWB certified in aluminum welding signifies that our shop, welding engineer, welding supervisor and welders are proficient in applying the specialty welding processes, shielding gases, special voltage, filler metals and best practices necessary to meet our certification requirements, as well as output quality work for our valued customers.
